As Sarah & I have been loafing abroad all summerRon and Carolyn kindly organised the September Walk this year. What a cracker. New new walkers .. welcome to Robin and Carol. ... and this year an impressive effort by the kids ... Molly, Alice and Helen as well as Robbie, Tom and Jack .. they all walked from Ottterton to Sidmouth with scarcely a moan ...
Having walked to the sea at Budleigh Libby had to leave us. The rest walked on to Sidmouth for a great lunch at the Anchor .... a superb pub with great service.
Fully replenished we set off for Branscombe. This latter half done in two halves. Basically as in life the women ahead and the men folk struggling on behind
At last we arrived at The Masons Arms at Branscombe. Great evening and food and company. Sadly I was a reduced man by Sunday and was sent home for an early bath. The rest enjoyed a circular walk to Beer.
Thanks to everyone for a wonderful weekend . In particular a big thanks to the Smiths for all their hard work.
