The End Of An Era

A really sad time for me. To wander around this old hospital, a place where patents of mine had been born, many cured , helped, aided through difficult. some had died here, but at least surrounded by friends and family. As this little old hospital goes down around me, I feel the death of what was created when my father started in medicine. Increasingly a business, increasingly less connection between those being treated and those receiving what is now called 'care'
