Wonderful 10 mile walk with Grania and David. Its sets me up for the fina lassault nextweekend. Great views and some fairly stiff climbs
We ended it all by my first return to the Square and Compass for over a quarter of a century

Lulworth to Kimmeridge with Sujata

So nearly there now, The antepenultimate walk gets me within a gnats crotchet of Swanage which I should reach om August Bank Holiday Monday (dv).
Sujata and I had a lovely time. We bought a pasty in Lulworth andthe RAN ... it was horrendously crowded. Then though we had a wonderful day getting into Kimmeridge aound 6pm.\Home then after temporarily loosing my petrol cap. Sustained en route by a lovely Inidna meal at the Taj Mahal with Suj and Marin. Lovely walk. Lovely meal. Great company. Home tired and happy.

Weymouth to Lulworth August 2009

Wll this is a fantastic walk but a long one ... and it gets tougher and tougher as you near the end. About 13 miles all in all but wonderful scenery.
Towards the end the steep chalk cliffs nearing durdle Dor are wonderful. Lulworth very spoilt but there is a reasonable pub .. the lulworth cove Inn ... if you can manage it you are better off walking up the hill to West Lulworth to a proper pub

Plaka Chez Margarita Summer 2009 July

A great holiday with Sarah Molly Rob and Molly's friend Lauren. Great fun ... maybe a little bit too busy again this summer. However the boules situation is now on a knife edge with Lyna and Jaques clearly realising that there powerbase has weakened. Saw Marjery, Elizabeth Potter, Susan. Met new friends .. Jean Phillipe and Sabine from Tyros and Tom and Sadie Holland. They were our neighbopurs briefly ... great fun. Sarah could help Sadie with Midder and I could glean copious information from Tom on the Byzantines ... perfect!!!

Abbotsbury to Ferrybridge

Well these are in the wrong order... however the walk from Abbotsbury to Ferrybridge is a welome relief. It is soft and lovely. Mixing English villages and hedgerows with the inner sea and fishing boats. As with all these walks I advise either ringing travel line to get a bus timetable ... or biking one way and walking the other ....

Ferrybridge to Lulworth Cove

Wonderful walk in hot midsummer. The old Weymouth harbour was wonderful. There then followed a great wander through Weymouth at its most busy. Fabulous in its own way. Then the wonderful if tiring 15mile walk to Lulworth. There is a pub there The Lulworth Cove Arms .... better than it might be in a honey pot!!!
