Dartmoor Walk 2011

The Two Bridges formed a great centre for our trip to Dartmoor this year.
Ron and Carolyn, Preston and Megan, Rachel and Bill, Martin and Suj, Suzie and Fi, Marko, Xerxes and Phillipa, Sandy and Derek,David and Grania as well as Sarah Robbie and I. We missed the children especially Molly ( for me) but she was partying of course .....

We had terrible weather which turned out to be a good thing. The weather may not have stopped us going onto the high moor and the mist ... but the bullets might have ended the weekend rather earlier than expected !!!
We went in a big loop from Peter Tavy to Horndon and back round by the West Devon Way. A lovely if not too challenging walk. Then on Sunday ... in Glorious weather we headed off , albeit a smaller party up to Wistmans Wood and then round back via the leat opposite ... very lovely!!!
