Sad news when Carrel and I arrive at Rochdale to pick up the Lugger. We are graced with good weather but also the sad news that the Factory where Bob and Norma make these wonderful boats may have to be purchased by the Metro, Could this be the end. Whatever we had a wonderful day. Carrel enjoyed being shown round all the workshops by Bob . Then off to the peaks for a couple of great days. Staying at the Old Hall in Chinley and visiting Buxton and the surounding hils.

As retirement looms ( or indeed sets in ) P&T completed their second leg of their mammoth walkfrom Ivybridge to Lymouth. Weather iffy but great fun

Fun surfing, eating , chatting , relaxing. We went off to St Ives on the train and generally messed about.
I went to see mums friend who used to live in Salubrious House ... in St Ives. Sadly she had gone!!
